Chryson Sariyannidis

Mr. Sariyannidis is a chartered engineer of Marine Engineering and Naval Architect discipline.  He earned his academic degrees in Glasgow and Sunderland, U.K. and served a full five year apprenticeship on the banks of Clyde and Tyne at a time when the international shipbuilding industry was concentrated in these areas. He also served as a seagoing engineer. During his lengthy career he held leading positions in Ship Management Companies, Shipyards and for over 34 years with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) from where he retired as Vice President of Eastern Europe and the Middle East, in 1993 and was awarded with a “commendation for notable service”.  In 1994 he founded “CS & Associates S.A.” Mr. Sariyannidis is a member and holds the honorary title of Fellow in various International Technical Institutions such as IMAREST, SNAME etc., a founder and past President of the Hellenic Institute of Marine Technology (Presented with the prestigious H.I.M.T. award for the year 2015), member of: the Hellenic Marine Technical Consultants Association (HMTCA), the Piraeus Association for Marine Arbitration (PAMA), the Piraeus Joint Branch of IMAREST/RINA, the Piraeus section of SNAME and a past President of the Piraeus Marine Club.

Konstantinos Roumeliotis

Mr. Roumeliotis is a professional Naval Architect – Marine Engineer.

He brings along a track record of twenty four years within the maritime Classification, Certification and consulting industry, in project management, key account management and senior management/leadership roles. 

Mr. Roumeliotis holds a M.Eng. from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK, and a Masters in Business Administration from Duke University, USA.

George Zarvanos

Internal associate
European Engineer (Eur.Ing.), Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.), and Chartered Marine Engineer (C.Mar.EST.). Earned his academic qualifications in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in Sunderland. U.K. and his Post Graduate qualifications in National Security Management from the U.S.Dept. of Defense University , ICAF, Washington D.C.. Served apprenticeship in a U.K. shipyard and a short period on board ships and then a compulsory 3 years as a Naval Reserve officer on active service in the Greek Navy. He joined the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) where he served for 36 years mostly in Greece,retiring in 2007 when he was the Divisional Principal Surveyor at the European Division's Headquarters in London. He additionally qualified as a Lead Auditor Trainer for Quality Systems attending the American President Association and the Baker Institute of Management. Since retirement from ABS he was invited and joined the Bahamas Maritime Authority as a Consultant to the M.D./CEO, participating also in the BMA IMO delegation until in 2014 when he established the BMA exclusive Office in Greece, of which he was appointed Regional Director and Registrar, retiring in 2018. Since then he has been associated with CS & Associates S.A. He is a Gold Life Member of the U.S.Naval Institute, a Member of the Propeller Club of the Port of New York and Past President of the (U.K.Branch), Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval  Architects (and Past President of the London Branch) Fellow of the Institution of Marine Engineers, and has also received various professional and other awards/commendations.
